School requirements
Following school disciplinary policy

1. Following the suspension of a child in my class for physical violence, I reached out to the family to check on the child's welfare and also provided work for him according to school policy

2. Upon the completion of the child's period of suspension, I conducted a re-entry interview with the child and his parent, together with the Assistant Principal. I recorded our conversation and all parties signed the agreement made.

3. Following the re-entry meeting, I sent a copy of the re-entry agreement, to the child's parent
4. Once the child had returned to school following his suspension, I facilitated a restorative conversation between the children and communicated this to the impacted child's parents. (The guide referred to in the email is the one shown in Artefact 3-A Restorative practices)
